117. New Road from Island Road to Stanley.-A contract, comprising the construction of a 25' road from the Main Island Road at Stanley to R.B.L. 243 at Stanley, together with a branch road to Stanley Police Station, including all necessary walling, bridges, culverts and cross drainage, was let to Messrs. Hop Hing & Son on 3.2.33 for a sum of $46,911.50. Good progress was maintained during the year.

118. Kennedy Road-Completion of Widening.-The widening to 30 feet of a further section of this road, adjoining the Magazine, was satisfactorily carried out by Messrs. Sang Lee & Co.
