134. Drainage :-(a) Training Nullahs.--In connexion with the general development of the district the open nullah south of K.I.L. 1527, Lo Lung Hang was arched over.

(b) Miscellaneous Drainage Works.-New sewers and storm water drains were constructed to a length of 10,471 feet, varying in diameter from 6″ to 38″, principally in Yaumati, Mongkok, To Kwa Wan and Kau Pui Shek. Reinforced concrete decking was constructed to Waterloo Road Nullah between the Chinese Y.M.C.A. and the drainage depot at Fo Pang, and to Shek Shan Nullah from To Kwa Wan Road to the sea. Parapet walling was erected along the south side of Argyle Street Nullah between Fa Yuen Street and Yim Po Fong Street, Mongkok, and along certain lengths of Sung Wong Toi Road nullah between Ma Tau Chung Road and Pak Tai Street. The number of drain connections made was 484. Many new gullies with flat gully gratings were constructed and connected to the storm water drainage system.
