A steel plate roof was fixed on the steel service tank at West Point Filters. 698 feet of 11" diameter wrought iron piping were laid to divert stream North of Wong Nei Chong Reservoir into the gauge basin.

110. 1st Section of new 75' Road between Causeway Bay and Ming Yuen Gardens.-The work comprised the construction of a portion of this 75' Road between a point to the South of I.L. 2358 and a point to the Eastwards of I.L. 2918. The contract was let to Mr. Tang Shui Kwong on 20th July, 1932 for a sum of $231,550.00. Stone as quarried was dumped to the east of M.L. 321 and used in the construction of the rubble mound at North Point and also at the Yacht Club. Cutting was deposited on the foreshore to the North of I.L. 2845 and in the Eastern corner of the old North Point Bathing Beach area.
Progress during the year was good.
