(c) (i) by amending by-law No. 3 so as to prohibit a dairy from being used for any purpose other than a dairy except by the written leave of the Board. This was made by the Board on 6th December and approved by the Legislative Council on 2nd February, 1933.
(ii) by the introduction of a new by-law prohibiting the employment of persons suffering from certain infectious diseases. This was made by the Board on 6th December and approved by the Legislative Council on 2nd February, 1933.
(iii) by the introduction of two new by-laws making it compulsory for an applicant for registration of a dairy to disclose the source of his milk supply, and prohibiting a registered proprietor from having in his dairy milk derived otherwise than from a registered dairy. These were made by the Board on 6th December and approved by the Legislative Council on 2nd February, 1933.
3. Markets. Two new markets: one at Sai Ying Pun and one at Lockhart Road were opened during the year.
4. Public Latrines and Conveniences. During the year public conveniences were completed and demolished as follows:-

6. Cemeteries. (a) No new cemetery was opened during the year.
(b) Section D, Mount Caroline Cemetery was closed during the year.
7. Premises Licensed or Admitted to Registration-Table XVIII shows the number of premises licensed or admitted to registration by the Sanitary Board.
8. Water Closets in Private Premises. During the year the Board approved the installation of 4,820 water closets and 128 urinals in private premises. The distribution of these water closets in districts is shown in Table XI (i) (line 6). The number of water closets and urinals installed up to 31st December is shown in Table XIX.
