133. Belilios Reformatory.-New Roof & General Repairs to the Fabric including Painting and Colourwashing.-This work was referred to in paragraph 220 of last year's Report.
It was completed in May, 1925.

134. Miscellaneous Works.-The following is a brief description of the principal works carried out under this Vote:
Ellis Kadoorie School.-Erection of a Garage in the School Playground, Hospital Road.
Government Civil Hospital.-Erection of a polling shed and a store for Gardener's implements.
"Tanderagee".-Erection of a Sentry Box on a brick-base near the Entrance Gates.
Bay View Police Station.-Improvements generally to lavatory accommodation and installation of Trough Closets to Station, and water-flushed fittings to European Quarters.
No. 5, Cross Street.-Conversion of a Chinese tenement house into a Health Clinic and rooms for attendants.
Nos. 47 & 49, Wyndham Street,-Rented Quarters for Gaol Warders.—Erection of partitions and installation of Gas Cookers and Geysers.
Ricksha Stand in Queen's Road, Central. To prevent obstruction to vehicular traffic, an area below Battery Path was levelled for a ricksha stand, the slope to the path being retained by a concrete wall. Care was taken that no trees were destroyed. Accommodation was provided for 25 rickshas.
This work was satisfactorily completed at a cost of $1,751.09.
Traffic Motor Signs.-Several of these signs were erected throughout the Island for the better control of traffic.
Construction of a dump for surplus material at Wanchai Gap. This work, referred to in paragraph 223 of last year's Report, was continued.
Plantation Road.-A retaining wall supporting this road was reconstructed.
