131. Telephone & Power Cables to Cape D'Aguilar W. T. Station.-Work was commenced on 14th May, 1925, but owing to labour difficulties it came to a standstill on 23rd June. It was re-started on 28th September and proceeded with until the end of the year.
The high tension power cable was brought into use on 16th December, thus enabling the supply of power from the Hongkong Electric Company's Generating Station to the Wireless Station. The 25 pair telephone cables will be completed in 1926 and will replace the present aerial lines.
