The dredging of the trenches for the rubble mound was com- pleted and the greater portion of the pell-mell rubble deposited.

7. Ferry Piers.-This work was referred to in paragraph 127 of the Report of the Director of Public Works for last year.

With the exception of preliminary surveys made for the purpose of determining the location of the ferry piers on the Hongkong side of the Harbour, no work was undertaken under this vote during the year.

10. Quay Wall at M. Ls. 430 & 431, North Point.-During the year, a contract was prepared on behalf of the Ching Siong
