In July, 1923, it was decided to extend the existing supply from the Golf Club Access Road to the houses in the vicinity of Fanling Village, for which a supplementary vote of $9,000 was granted. This extension involved the laying of 7,000 lin. feet of 3" W. I. pipe; the work was commenced in September and completed in December.

The 1923 Estimate of $7,500 was voted for an authorized extension to the Basto-Soares' land, but as no development took place in this district the extension was not carried out.

216. Alterations to "Harbour View" as a Police Training School.—These alterations were described in paragraph 199 of last year's Report. The work was executed by Messrs. Sang Lee & Co. under the Maintenance of Buildings Contract and completed early in the year.
