(d.) Tokwawan Road (100 feet wide) Section between Kowloon City Road and K.M.L. 50 (estimate for 50 foot width.)—Plans were prepared, and a Contract for the work was let in June.
In addition to the road construction, areas at the rear of Tokwawan Village were included in the contract to be cut and brought to approved formation level in order to provide sites for exchange purposes in the case of houses involved and for land resumptions.
Good progress was made with both sections of the work, 45,400 c. yards being removed from the line of road and 56,600 c. yards from the site areas. The excavated material was being used for filling in, to approved formation levels on the line of road, low-lying areas in its vicinity, and for reclamation purposes to the North of K.M.L. 90.
