Submits proposal for raising a fund for Empire Education, and transmits copies of letters on the subject pub- lished in "The Times" ; requests support to the scheme and an inter- view to explain the matter in detail. States, in reply to No. 134, that the subject has already received careful attention by a Committee working under the auspices of the Colonial Office, that no special support can be given to Mr. Stoneham's movement as distinguished from other Associ- ations having similar objects, and that, therefore, there is no occasion for an interview.
Requests to be put into communication with the Committee referred to, with a view to avoid clashing with work already being carried out.
