Reports that the shipment of lanterns and slides referred to in No. 107 will shortly be completed, and suggests the sending of a special report with a complete statement of cost to the Colonies concerned; enquires whether they or the Colonial Office should send such special reports.
Forwards Mr. Mackinder's acconni for the special edition of lantern lectures and requests a full report on the working of the scheme after it has been given a fair trial; explains the scheme agreed to as to copyright, and states that an arrangement should be made with the Government of Southern Nigeria as to what pro- portion of the initial outlay of £100 should be borne by the Gold Coast.
Forwards Mr. Mackinder's account for the special edition of lantern lectures, and requests a full report on the working of the scheme as soon as it has been given a fair trial; points out that Southern Nigeria, as the owner of the copyright, is entitled to recover from the Gold Coast, such proportion of the initial outlay of £100 as may be agreed upon between the two Colonies, and states that the Governor has been so informed.
