In reply to your letter of the 11th instant, I am directed by Earl Granville to acquaint you, for the information of the Earl of Kimberley, that his Lordship has been advised by the proper Law Officers of the Crown, to whom your letter was referred, that the Governor-General of Canada and Lieutenant-Governor of Prince Edward's Island may be instructed to issue their proclamations for bringing the Fishery Articles of the Treaty of Washington into force in those Colonies.
