Reference paragraph..2 of War Office Telegram: MO 12 T.0.0. 071830 May. Following your decisior that the future channel of command and responsibility for Army forces in Hong Kong will be War Office C.-in-C. ALFSBA G.O.C. Landforces Hong Kong, I have discussed the size and composition of the Pence Tim Garrison with G.0.0. Hong Kong.
2. In your Telegram 1403 of 4th April to C.-in-. Hong Kong you agreed to the retention of two inrentry Brigades until at least 1st January, 1947. It is important that the ultimate size and composition of the
Pe ce Time Garrison should be decided as son as possible.
