(ba) New Territories taxis, that is to say any cam, not being Hong Kong and Kowloon taxis, which stand or ply for hire within such area of the New Territories as may be prescribed and in which the passengers are carried for hire or reward under a contract expressed or implied for the use of the vehicles as a whole at a rate indicated by taximeters;".
