An Ordinance to amend the Summary Offences Ordinance.

Enacted by the Governor of Hong Kong, with the advice and consent

of the Legislative Council thereof.

1. This Ordinance may be cited as the Summary Offences (Amend- Short dik. meall Ordinance 1975.

1. Section 4 of the principal Ordinance is amended by deleting Amendatent of paragraph (17) and substituting the following-

"(17) organizes, provides equipment for, or participates in any collection of money or sale of badges in a public place save under and in accordance with a permit in writing issued by the Director of Social Welfare;".

3. Section 17 of the principal Ordinance is amended by-

(a) deleting "spear, bludgeon or other":

(b) deleting "is unable" and substituting the following—

"being unable";
