ROAD TRAFFIC (PARKING AND WAITING)
(AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1969.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 3 of the Road Traffic Ordinance, the Governor in Council has made the follow- ing regulations—
1. These regulations may be cited as the Road Traffic (Parking and Waiting) (Amendment) Regulations 1969 and shall come into operation on a day to be appointed by the Governor by notice in the Gazette.

Regulation 2 of the principal regulations is amended by deleting the definition of "goods vehicle",

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations is amended-
(4) in paragraph (2), by deleting "No" and substituting the
following-
"Except as provided in regulation 4 or 5, no";
(b) by adding after paragraph (2) the following—

“(24) No driver of any motor vehicle shall cause or permit a passenger to be picked up or set down by the vehicle on a road within fifty feet of a sign or symbol which is erected at any place specified in Appendix A or B of the Tramway Working Rules to indicate that such place is a place at which cars stop, except at a place at which the vehicle may be parked or may wait under regulation 4 or 5.".
(c) by adding after paragraph (3) the following-
"(4) For the purpose of paragraph (ZA) means conveyances which are used solely on yẩm- ways.".
