DENTISTS (REGISTRATION AND DISCIPLINARY PROCEDURE) (AMENDMENT) REGULATIONS 1966.

la exercise of the powers conferred by section 29 of the Dentists Registration Ordinance 1959, the Governor in Council has made the following regulations-

1. These regulations may be cited as the Dentists (Registration Citation. and Disciplinary Procedure) (Amendment) Regulations 1966.

2. Paragraph (1) of regulation 12 of the Dentists (Registration Amendment and Disciplinary Procedure) Regulations 1959 is amended by the deletion of regula

tion 12. of "Government Senior Dental Specialist" and the substitution therefor (G.NA.

"government dental specialist for the time being appointed under paragraph (5) of subsection (2) of section 4 of the Ordinance to be a member of the Council".

Explanatory Note.

By the Dentists Registration (Amendment) Ordinance 1965, the Dentists Registration Ordinance 1959 has been amended so as to make provision for the appointment of a government dental specialist to be a member of the Dental Council under paragraph (b) of subsection (2) of section 4 of the Dentists Registration Ordinance 1959. These regulations amend regulation 12 of the Dentista (Registration and Disciplinary Procedure) Regulations 1955 so as to provide that the government deuta! specialist so appointed to be a member of the Dental Council shall also be a meraber and the Chairman of the Preliminary Investigation Committee.
