tersection with the aircraft runway, and to the west by a line drawn from the western extremity of Stonecutters Island to the eastern extremity of Little Green Island and thence on a bearing duc south to the shore, and to the north by a line drawn from the southern extremity of Stonecutters Island eastwards to the northern arm of the northern entrance to the typhoon shelter on the Kowloon Peninsula; or within the western danger- ous goods anchorage: or within three hundred feet of the shore or any structure projecting therefrom; (i) 6fteen knots, if within any other part of Victoria Harbour;
(6) in the case of a vessel exceeding an overall length of fifty feet but not exceeding one hundred and ninety feet, ten knots in any part of Victoria Harbour:
(c) in the case of a vessel exceeding an overall length of one hundred and ninety feet, eight knots in any part of Victoria Harbour.".
12. Regulation 9 of the principal regulations is amended- (a) by the deletion of paragraph (1) and the substitution therefor
of the following-
"(1) Any vessel proceeding along, as opposed to crossing, any of the principal fairways prescribed in the Second Appendix shall have right of way over any vessel proceeding across such fairway.”:
(5) by the deletion of paragraph (2);
(c) by the deletion of paragraph (3) and the substitution therefor
of the following-
**(3) Subject to the provisions of these regulations, every vessel shall observe the provisions of the inter national rules for the prevention of collisions at sea."; and (d) by the deletion, in paragraph (8), of the words "naval dockyard at Hong Kong" and the substitution therefor of the following-
"Victoria Naval Basin".
13. Regulation 10 of the principal regulations is amended- (a) by being renumbered as paragraph (1) thereof; and (b) by the insertion of the following new paragraph--
"(2) The Director may, in his discretion and for the purpose of controlling traffic in any port or the approaches thereto, by notice in writing served upon the owner or

agent of any vessel direct the time of arrival or departure of such vessel whether in respect of any particular arrival
or departure or generally in respect of any series of arrivals or departures.",

17. Regulation 14 of the principal regulations is amended-
(a) by the deletion, in paragraph (1), of the words and figure "a monthly rental of $5" and the substitution therefor of the following-
"the prescribed fee"; and
(6) by the insertion, after paragraph (2), of the following new
paragraph-
"(ZA) Any owner of any private mooring or buoy who fails to comply with any direction given by the Director in respect thereof pursuant to the provisions of paragraph (2) shall be guilty of an offence.".
