FOOD BUSINESS BY-LAWS, 1960.
In exercise of the powers conferred by section 56 of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, 1960, the Urban Council has made the following by-laws-
PART 1.
Preliminary.
1. These by-laws may be cited as the Food Business By-laws, Citation and 1960, and shall come into operation on the day appointed for the com- commence- mencement of the Public Health and Urban Services Ordinance, 1960.

"air conditioning plant" includes any kind of mechanical ventilation system which contains a device for reducing or increasing the temperature of the air in any building, or any part thereof, below or above the temperature of the external air;
"bottled" means contained in an unopened hermetically sealed bottle.

"drinks" meaus non-alcoholic liquids for human consumption, but does
not include water;
"food business" has the meaning assigned to it in by-law 4;
"food premises" means any premises on or from which there is carried on any food business, and the expression "premises" includes a vessel and a stall;
"food room" means any room, (being, or being part of, any food prem- ises) where any person engages in the bandling of open food or in the cleaning of equipment for the purposes of a food business, but does not include a room in which the only handling of food which occurs is in the course of serving food for consumption therein:
