Explanatory Note.
(This Note is not part of the by-laws, but is intended to indicate their general purport).
The main purpose of the amendments is to create a new class
of pedlar hawkers who will be known as Bathing Beach Pedlar Hawkers.
2.
Opportunity has also been taken-
(a) to impose a surcharge of 10 per cent of the appropriate liconce
fee for the late renewal of all licences;
(b) to re-define the districts in Kowloon and New Kowloon and
increase their number; and
(e) to make provision for Fixed Pitch Newspaper hawkers to trade in districts other than Central District in Hong Kong and Tsim Sha Tsui in Kowloon.
