(2) One election agent only shall be appointed for each candidate but the appointment may be revoked at any time by notice in writing signed by the candidate and delivered to the returning officer.
(3) A duly appointed election agent shall have authority to do all things necessary in the election which could have been done by the candidate in person and at any time in the absence of the candidate may take any steps and incur any expenditure on behalf of the candidate and any such acts of the election agent shall be as effectual as if they had been done by the candidate în person.
13. (1) Not later than five days after the last day for receipt of nomination papers the returning officer shall cause a notice of particulars of election agents completed in accordance with Form To of the Appendix
(a) to be displayed at a prominent place outside his office:
and
(D) to be forwarded to cach duly nominated candidate.
(2) A copy of the said notice shall be published in the next issue of the Gazette.
PART IL
PROVISIONS RELATING TO Polling.
Poling and Polling Stations.
14. Al every election the votes shall be given by ballot and the poll shall be conducted in accordance with the provisions of these regulations.
15. Each elector shall be entitled to give one vote and no more for each candidate at an election provided that the totul number of votes he may give shall not exceed the number of vacancies to be filled at such election.
16. Subject to the provisions of regulation 38 the poll shall commence at eight o'clock in the forenoon and shall be kept open until eight o'clock in the afternoon of the same day and no longer.

17. (r) The returning officer may use, free of charge, for Use of the purpose of taking the poll or of counting the votes a room buildings
as polling in any school in respect of which a grant is made out of the stationa. general revenue of the Colony.
(2) The returning officer shall make good any damage done to and defray any expense incurred by any person having control over, any such room as aforesaid by reason of its having been used for the purpose of taking a poll or of counting the votes.
(a) The returning officer may hire any premises or part thereof in the Colony for such purpose.
(4) The use of a room in an unoccupied house or fat for the purpose of taking the poll or of counting the votes shall not render a person liable to be rated or to pay any rate for that house.
18. An election shall not be held in any church, chapel or Prohibition other place of worship.

Duties of returning
19. (1) for any election the returning officer shali- (a) appoint a presiding officer to preside at each pulling officer in
station and such other officers (including assistant relation
to polling presiding officers, interpreters and poll clerks) as may be stations. necessary for taking the poll and counting the votes;
(b) furnish each polling station with such number of com- partments as he may deem necessary in which the electors may mark their votes screened from observation :
(c) furnish each presiding officer with such number of ballot
boxes and ballot papers as he may deem necessar
ary: (d) provide polling stations with materials to enable electors to mark the ballot papers, with instruments for stamping thercon the official mark, and with copies of the appro priate part of the register of electors for the polling station:
(e) do such other acts and things as may be necessary for effectually conducting the election in the manner provided by the Ordinance and these regulations.
