MAINTENANCE ORDERS (FACILITIES FOR ENFORCEMENT)

ORDINANCE, 1921.

By His Excellency Sir RamsALD EOWARD STUBns Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in- Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiiral of the same:

Whereas it is provided by section 12 of the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance 1921 that where the Governor is satisfied that reciprocal provisions have been made by the legislature of any British possession for the oriforce- went within such possession of maintenance orders made by Courts in Hongkong the Governor may by Proclamation extend the Maintenance Order (Facilities for Enforce- ment) Ordinance 1921 to maintenance orders made by courts within such possession and that thereupon the said Ordinance shall apply to such maintenance orders as if they had been made in England or Ireland:

And whereas I am satisfied that such reciprocal provisions have been made by the legislature of New South Wales :

Now therefore I Sir REGINALD EDWARD STUBBs Knight Commander of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint Michael and Saint George, Governor and Commander-in- Chief of the Colony of Hongkong and its Dependencies, and Vice-Admiral of the same do hereby by this Proclamation extend the Maintenance Orders (Facilities for Enforcement) Ordinance 1921 to maintenance orders made by courts in New South Wales.
