I HAVE the honour to submit the fourth quarterly account of expenditure incurred by the Mediterranean Fever Commission.
The expenditure in Malta from 1st January to 31st March, 1905, amounted to £120 9s. 6d.

with reference to the letter from this Lords Commissioners of Admiralty, Department of the 25th ultimo,† the accompanying certified account of further expenditure in connexion with the Mediterranean Fever Inquiry, and to request that one-third of the total amount, namely, £40 3s. 2d., may be paid from Army Navy funds to the Crown Agents for the Colonies, to be placed to the credit of Malta funds, from which the total expense has been defrayed.

Governor of Malta suggesting that an allowance of £10 per month shall be paid
• Included in the amount of £701 Os. 9d., one-third of which was refunded to the Civil Govern. ment of Malta by the Military Authorities and one-third by the Admiralty.
