- Myrthorougn Horse. Monday.

Lady Knutsford attended at Marlborough House this afternoon, and presented to the Prince and Princess of Wales the present which has been subscribed for by the several Colonies and Dependencies of the Crown to Commemorate their Royal Highnesses' Silver Wedding.

→It consisted of a clock and candelabra, together with twelve large wall lights fitted for electric lights.

**Lord Knutsford, Secretary of State for the Colonies, and Sir Frederick Young, Treasurer of the Fund, were present.”

Their Royal Highnesses repeated the expression of their warm acknowledgments for this handsome present, which harl, at the request

of the donors, been selected by the Prince himself.

The clock and candelabra occupy the whole of the mantel-pince

in the great saloon at Marlborough House, and the electric wall-lights

are arranged round the walls, and fully light the apartment. It will.

no doubt, be satisfactory to those who contributed, to know that their

gift will be in constant use, reminding their Royal Highnesses of the

kind feelings and loyalty which prompted it.
