Export Prohibition.

(i) Government Notice No. 125, of 4th August, 1914, prohibiting the exporta tion of fuel and grain.

(ii) Government Notice No. 128, of 5th August, 1914, prohibiting the exporta- tion of certain other articles.

(iii) Government Notice No. 141, of 12th August, 1914, prohibiting the exportation of arms, ammunition, etc.

(iv) Government Notice No. 152, of 18th August, 1914, prohibiting the exportation of foodstuffs of all description.

(v) Government Notice No. 174, of 3rd September, 1914, prohibiting the exportation of gold and silver coin and medicinals.

(vi) Government Notice No. 287, of 9th December, 1914, consolidating and amending the above Notices, and publishing a new list of articles the exportation of which may be permitted (1) to British ports only and (2) to certain specified ports.

Treatment of Enemy Merchant Ships.

(i) Proclamation XIII., of 5th August, 1914, publishing His Majesty's Order in Council, of 4th August, 1914, relative to the treatment of enemy merchant ships under the Hague Convention of 18th October, 1907.

(ii) Government Notice No. 140, of 11th August, 1914, amending above Proclamation.

(iii) Government Notice No. 184, of 10th September, 1914, publishing a sup- plement to London Gazette of 7th August, 1914, relative to the treatment of German merchant ships in British ports on outbreak of war.

(iv) Government Notice No. 185, of 10th September, 1914. The same as above; but applying to Austro-Hungarian ships.

Trading with the Enemy.

(i) Government Notice No. 184, of 7th August, 1914, publishing His Majesty's Proclamation of 5th August, 1914, against participation during the war in dealings with the German Emperor and his Government.

(ii) Government Notice No. 135, of 7th August, 1914, publishing His Majesty's Proclamation of 5th August, 1914, against trading with persons in the German Empire.

(iii) Government Notice No. 188, of 14th September, 1914, publishing full text of Royal Proclamation of 12th August, 1914, containing clauses regarding trading with the enemy.

(iv) Government Notice No. 189, of 14th September, 1914, revoking Royal Proclamation of 5th August, 1914, and paragraph 2 of Royal Proclamation of 12th August, 1914, regarding trading with the enemy, and extending provisions to Austria-Hungary.

The Prize Court.

(ii) Proclamation XVIII., of 13th August, 1914, by the Governor as Vice- Admiral of Malta, announcing the outbreak of hostilities between England and Austria-Hungary, for purposes relating to prize matters.

(iii) Proclamation XXV., of 31st August, 1914, relating to the Prize Court Rules made by Order in Council, of 5th August, 1914.

(iv) Government Notice No. 216, of 6th October, 1914, publishing certain amendments to the Prize Court Rules under an Order in Council of 30th September, 1914.

(v) Government Notice No. 239, of 31st October, 1914, publishing the last- mentioned Order in Council.

Importation of Goods.

Proclamation XLI., of 17th November, 1914, announcing the enactment of "an Ordinance to extend temporarily to the importation of all goods generally the pro- visions of Section 30 of Ordinance VI. of 1840" (restrictions relating to arms, etc.).
