(2) One member shall be elected for each constituency, except that the Burgher Constituency shall have the right to elect two members who shall be Burghers, the Muslim Constituency shall have the right to elect three members who shall be Muslims; and the Indian Constituency to elect two members who shall be Indians.
(3) No person not being a Ceylon Tamil shall be elected for the Western Province (Ceylon Tamil) Constituency.
19.--(1) The European Urban Constituency shall include the administrative limits of the municipalities of Colombo, Kandy, and Galle,
(2) The European Rural Constituency shall include the whole Island not being within the administrative limits of the municipalities aforesaid.
(3) The Burgher, Muslim, and Indian Constituencies shall include the whole Island.
(4) The Divisions of Colombo Town (North) and of Colombo Town (South) shall, respectively, include such portions of the Town of Colombo as may from time to time be determined by the Governor in Executive Council by Proclamation in the Government Gazette to be included therein.

(5) The Colombo District shall include the Colombo Revenue District, other than the Town of Colombo and the Negombo District; and the Negombo District shall include Hapitigam Korale; the administrative limits of the Local Board of Minuwangoda and of the Urban District Council of Negombo, Alut kuru Korale North. "Alutkuru Korale South, and Siyane Korale West.
(6) The Central Province (Urban Division) shall include the Town of Kandy, all Local Board or Sanitary Board towns, and the administrative limits of the Board of Improvement of Nuwara Eliya and of all Urban District Councils within such Province.
(7) The Central Province (Rural Division) shall include all other portions of the Central Province not mentioned in paragraph (6) of this clause.
(8) The several divisions of the Northern Province shall include, respectively, such portions of the Northern Province as may from time to time be declared by the Governor in Executive Council by Proclamation in the Government Gazette to be included therein.
(9) The several divisions of the Southern Province shall include, respectively, such portions of the Southern Province as may from time to time he declared by the Governor in Executive Council by Proclamation in the Government Gazette to be included therein. (10) The North-Western Province (Western Division) shall include the Chilaw and Puttalam Revenue District except Demala Hatpattu.
(11) The North-Western Province (Eastern Division) shall include all other portions of the North-Western Province not included in the Western Division as mentioned in paragraph (10) of this clause. (12) All Proclamations issued under the corresponding Article of the Order in Council of 1923 shall be deemed to have been issued mider this Article.
