As regards the refusal of the Western Australian Government to allow him to import camels. Whether petitioner entitled to proceed by Petition of Right, although he neglected to take proceed- ings under the Crown Suits Act, 1898, until too late, and whether fat should be granted. Petition of Mr. Davies with reference to Land Grant,

Dominica.

Clain not very meritorions, but the Governor should endorse his consent on the statement of claim as provided by Section 370 of Ordinance No. 8 of 1876 80 that the case may be tried. Petition of Mr. J. O. Fournier of Montreal with

reference to certain lands.

Fiat not to be issued without further enquiry. Suggestion that the Ljent.-Governor of Quebec should be asked to make enquiries as to the dealings of the Government in regard to the lands in question.
