8TH JUNE.
Your telegram 29th May.† Army Council ask that their warm thanks may be conveyed to Government of Ontario for generous offer, which they most gratefully accept.
As it is not possible to maintain primary hospital for any special group of soldiers, Army Council consider that establishment of auxiliary hospital for Canadians would best fulfil purpose of offer.
As regards motor ambulances, Army Council suggest actual purchase should be left in their hands, so as to ensure vehicles being of standard type.-BONAR Law.
