British East Africa, 13th June, 1917. WITH reference to Sir Henry Belfield's despatch No. 326, of the 1st June, 1916, I have the honour to transmit herewith, in duplicate, the returns of game killed in the East Africa Protectorate during the year 1916-1917.
2. The Game Warden remarks that this return cannot be considered as accurate as, in certain areas, a quantity of game has been killed in connexion with the military operations.
