States that it has been ascertained that many of the photographs required by Mr. Sargent have been loaned by private persons, and that it is not possible to supply these, and that, in regard to the question of keeping sets of slides exclusive, photographs cau- not be given under such conditions.
September 20 Enquires, with reference to No. 14, whether the lantern lectures and slides might be made use of by the naval authorities in the manuer specified, and requests copies of the lectures on Australasia, Canada and the Union of South Africa when ready.
Conveys thanks for the book of lectures entitled "The Sea Road to the East," and states that copies will be placed in the libraries of transports; requests copies of any further books issued by the Committee.
