Veterinary Survey of Northern Nigeria. Requests that arrangements may be made for the issue of a licence to shoot wild animals suspected of carry- ing diseases.
Preservation of Elephants in Uganda. Reports that the Society for the Pre- servation of the Wild Fauna of the Empire have represented the desira- bility of raising the limit for immature ivory fixed by Section 7 (1) of the Uganda Game Ordinance, and asks for his views on the proposal.

Examination for Veterinary Appoint- ments in the Colonies. Acknowledges receipt of No. 96 and requests further information on the points specified.
International Convention for the Preser- vation of Wild Animals. Forwards copy of a despatch from His Majesty's Minister at Madrid enclos- ing a Note from the Spanish Govern- ment intimating their readiness to ratify the Agreement of May 19, 1900.
Colonial Veterinary Matters. Transmita copy of the circular despatch of February 26th to Crown Colonies and Protectorates and suggests that it should be brought to the notice of Ministers.
Captain Todd's Report on Diseases affect- ing Cattle and Horses in the Gambia. Requests that an expression of Lord Elgin's appreciation of Captain Todd's services may be conveyed to that officer.
Diseases of Horses on the Gold Coast. Transmits reports received from Accra, Ada, Tarkwa, Keta, Obuas-i, Mampon, Kumase, Wa, Gambaga, and Kintampo.
Improvement of Veterinary Arrangements. Reports, in reply to No. 93, that the opportunities for research of the nature indicated do not justify the appoint- ment of a Veterinary Inspector.
