8th. The payment of the said two thousand one hundred dollars shall be by monthly payments of three hundred and fifty dollars, and the first payment shall be made at the termination of the first month from the date of the seventeenth day of June, one thousand eight hundred and seventy-two.

9th. The penalty for the non-fulfilment of this Agreement by either party shall be five hundred dollars.
