Dear Logan,
With reference to my letter of 23rd June about the entry of Indians and Pakistanis into Hong Kong, you will have seen the telegram from the United Kingdom High Commissioner at New Delhi to Hong Kong of 17th June asking whether in view of recent developments in China the Hong Kong Government still wish him to approach the Government of India.
I am taking no action on this at the moment. of Hong Kong will presumably reply shortly.
Yours sincerely,
The Governor
Fat Cliohny
Sir Marston Logan, K.B.E., C.M.G.,
Colonial Office,
