I am interested in your proposal to create a vacancy in your establishment for an announcer/scriptwriter/ producer. I believe that a certain David Kenyon, late of the B.F.E.E.S., an Australian, now in the United Kingdom, would be interested. Is the vacancy sufficiently near at hand for me to mention it to him? And what would the conditions of service be? If you choose Philip Burn, I do not doubt that the B.B.C. would gladly give him any training in reason that we might ask for.
