custs of local Hong Kong broadcasting- service, would not repeat not fall on liong Kong funda.
You will recollect that a somewhat similar project which was recently discussed between us was deferred owing to financial and technical uncertainties. I hope therefore you will be able without great difficulty or delay to let me have your views on this Scheme from its general (2.g. political) aspecte vis-a-vis Hong Kong's relations with China. Grateful if you will also indicate particularly whether:-
(1) new aerial must or special reflector
antennae would be required;
(11) engineers available in Colony could
undertake installation;
