Australian press report that there is shortage of police
arms in Hong Kong. Nicoll now in Sydney has asked me to
inform you that there aro some arms in Fiji. Owing to bad
telephone, details were not clear but he mentioned American
carbines, Bren guns and 200 tommy guns but you would doubtless
obtain any desired information direct from Fiji.
