With a small Garrison, stretched to the limit, when operating against an enemy in the NE TERRITOIES, the need for early information of enemy moves is of paramount importance. The psychological effect of mobile reconnaissance forces combing the area would be tremendous.
Furthermore mobile reconnaissance could guard the I of C of fectively. At present there is no unit here which can provide the answer and it will be a long time before the Carrier Platoon of the HKDF Battalion can help.
Apart from anti-aire aft the greatest need of the Garrison is for a mobile reconnaissance unit whether it be to deal with:-
(a) A Refugee problem,
(b) A ar Lord attack, or
(c) Internal unrest.
