BRIEFING
Page 14.
CONFIDENTIAL
It was very heartening to see the interest displayed by everyone taking part. There were of course the odd small units and persons who were not fully "briofod". The briefing of L.E.P. personnel was not good and some method of having this carried out must be arranged. It is impossible for anyone to really take an interèst end give of his best if he does not know "What it is all in aid of".

INTELLIGENCE
XI.
Intelligence Officers on all levels are not good at-
(a) Recording information on maps.
(b) Deciding what information is important and should be
passed to their commander.
(c) Putting information "over" to their Commanders.
(d) Showing initiative by finding ways and moans of
obtaining vital information.
(e) Organising their staffs.
It is apparent that "I" Staffs on all levels roouire further training in their field duties. GS (1) HOLF will go into this question.
