for the duplicate, we could not use it very well for

the counterfoil.

Apparently you dont quite understand, even now, what Xr Hooper says. (Illustrates). A shopman has a book, and

he puts in his oarbon sheet. He has three of them. He

puts in his copy, and they are initialled by the shop-

walker. He tears one out and he gives it to you. He

tears another cut, and he gives it to the cashier, and

the third one is kept in his book as a record. You tear

out one or two, and you still have one copy left in

your bound book, and it is what is done every day in

all the big shops at home. I suggest that you should

have some sort of bound record so that you should not

have so many loose sheets about. Than you could have

your sheets numbered. Is there any objection to that ?

Kone.

This afternoon, I have gone through a Banitary Board 15,170

box of papers, with regard to Jardine*: Xazan?, xil

written in duplicate.

Yes.

You have a lot of estra duty to perform because it 15771

has to go to another Departaent.

We only send these notices once a week.

18772

I dont care how often you send them. What I want to get

at is this, that if there was only owe authority, there

would be lens work, that is one authority instead of

the Building Authority and the Sanitary Board ?

Yes.

Therefore there would be less work for you ?

Can you give me any information as to the leakage of

information that has taken place ↑
