buried, until his death has been registered, and when

that death has been registered, that is suthority for

the burial ?

One can only bury on a permit from the Registrar

General, or the Magistrate.

Are you aware that there have been many cases in 11.985

which bodies have been found, and been buried without

any doctor having seen them ?

Oh yes,

I should think - the Inspector's description

gives some sort of notice which the Registrar accepta -

but the V. 0. H. does not gåve a permit of burial.

The body has not necessarily been viewed by the

Medical man ?

Yes. First of all it is very diffioult to get any history of the case from the living man. You might look

at 100 plague bodies, and not know that they had had

lague. The only way to know plague is to look inside

of them.
