Officer, forms for use in the case of
blind electors, testament, forms of
declaration, &c. as called for by the
rules.
A table (say 8 feet x 2' 6") for the
Presiding Officer and his clerk and a
similar table for the candidates'
polling agents. Half a dozen chairs.
Polling booths to accommodate three or four
voters at a time. It is useful to have
these about six feet high with compartments
about 20" to 24" deep (partitions of
same height as back), and ledge for use
as table for marking ballot papers.
It is best to have everything hinged so
that the booth can be folded up and stacked
away.

Each ballot box should have fixed inside its
lid a list of all the articles (excluding
booths, tables, chairs) which are supplied
to the Presiding Officer. At the briefing
the Presiding Officer must check and see
that he has everything on the list.
Early consideration must be given to the
provision of the necessary staffs for (a) registration
of electors, (b) the conduct of elections.
