I have the honour to forward for your
information a memorandum containing an account of the
activities in Hong Kong of the Chinese Kuomintang since
the re-occupation up to the present time, together with
an assessment of the future conduct of this organisation
in Hong Kong, and some views as to the attitude which
should be adopted towards it by this Government.
This memorandum has been prepared by the
Acting Secretary for Chinese Affairs, Mr. T. Megarry. I
am sending copies of it to His Majesty's Ambassador at
Nanking and to His Majesty's Consul General at Canton.
