A. Yes, and there is another way it is awkward for a
Sanitary Inspector in this respect. It is that the waste pipes have no grating on kitchen floors. We will say I nerve a notice for a choked waɛte pipe. They might send along people the following day, and get it cleared. That leaves another 24 hours clear, after it has heen cleared. At the expiration of the 48 hours, the Inspector goes again, and it may be choked again. Two or three cases that way have occurred, but I could not tell you where they were, because the contractor
has told me he has cleared them.
You mean to say that in the event of the man being 14357 prosecuted, he says "I did clear the pipe", and when Inspector says "I found it choked" they are both
telling the truth ?
