I explained to the officer at home that I had no

qualifications as a Civil Engineer, and I had my

agreement altered to that effect.

That is not quite the point. I mean, what is your

training? I want it on record, what your training is.

I was 7 years with Messrs Dent and Hiller, who are the

Sanitary Engineers to the Government, and I had my

training thers.

I was for about two years with my uncle, who is a

Builder and Surveyor.
