Many thanks for your letter of the 27th June and the enclosures relating to the labour situation in Hong Kong and the proposal for an air service between Hong Kong and Australia.

I note that in the second enclosure it is stated that Skymasters are the biggest planes which can land at Kai Tak airfield. information is that this airfield cannot safely take Skymasters, but, as you know, as the result of our talk the other day, we have telegraphed an enquiry to Hong Kông on the point.
