Dear Male,
COL. OFFICE
Hong Kong Labour.
The attached from Finnie, our Dockyard Manager, may interest
you, which we are approving warmly.
A.N.A. I also attach copy of a letter from
C.C.Roberts, our Manager in Hong Kong,
to our directors in Australia, which will be of interest to you.
You will notice the reference to Skymasters and Kai Tak. I must say I should have thought it would have been worth the Hong Kong Government's while to build
Air
a really proper aerodrome in a suitable place. communication between Hong Kong and the rest of the world is so vital to the former and to its functiona as a centre of British influence in the Far East, that surely a few millions more of depreciated currency would not matter in these days for such a good object.
Yours sincerely
N.L.Male Esq.,
