Hong Kong Board had described the difficulty it was encountering in finding communal sites for the Transitting and Receiving Statiɔns, of the sizes recommended at the 1st uecting and stated that either tho requirouents of Transmitting and Rocciving Channels must be reduced, or if this could not be donc, a system of greater sharing of corials utilizing wide bend amplifiers and multi channelling equipment must be adopted in order to economise in the land required for acrial arrays.
At the last nooting; it had boon stated that the requirements listol by the various departments were the minimum necessary tɔ provide essential services. Perhaps the departments could now If not it must say whether they cul cut down requirements.

So far as arrangement provided there was no limitation of space. Cables & Wireless were concerned it would not bo possible to reduce the requirements for channels, but it might be that the services could accopt some reduction. The Air Ministry had corrected their original requirements in respect of thuir Rangon and Hiroshim. circuits by changing from triple diversity to double diversity reception for both circuits. There might possibly be some other reductions that could
