Dear Sir,
With reference to my recent conversation with the Chief Accountant, I now beg to hand you the Shares specified below for Safe Custody, which form part of the Shares released to me by the Liquidator on my repayment to him during the Japanese cocupation of my overdraft with your Bank amounting to H.K.$1076107.08 (Hongkong Dollars One Million seventy six thousand one hundred and seven and Cents Eight- only) including interest to date of payment; and I so hand you the Shares without prejudice to my position arising from such repayment which I was compelled to make.
