Emits a summary of meteorological con- ditions twice daily at 0400 and 1200 G.M.T. (corresponding to noon and 8 p.m. (H.K. time).
Emits typhoon warnings immediately ou receipt and at 18 minutes past every hour until 1600 G.M.T.
(d) Emite navigation warnings on receipt and after the completion of the weather reports at 0400 and 1200 G.M,T.
Communication with ships fitted for short wave transmission and reception. With this transmitter contact is maintained with such ships long after they have passed out of range of 1 and 4.
