REMARKS.-Persons having possession of lands or houses previous to the Treaty wore allowed to retain them on payment of certain assessed rentals now collgeted by the Treasurer. În custs where sneh lands or houses are not leased, the occupiers are treated as tenants at will. 1,019 aeros 1 rood and 14.1/10 poles were leased and 279 acres 3 roods al 9,7:10 poles were re-entered, surrendered or resumed leaving 739 acres 2 roods and 13.275 poles to be added to the total number of acres leased according to previous returns.
